Liasioning with Internal customers and reporting Manager to advice on problems or delays. Troubleshooting potential problems and providing solutions in advance.
Checking the accuracy of product specification and immediate decisions in problem solving.
Effectively report and work with maintenance to resolve all maintenance related issues (mechanical/electrical/equipment) concerns immediately.
Spend more than 80% of time on the shop-floor coaching and providing guidance to all operators including fast resolution of all employee concerns.
Engage employees in continuous improvement to improve performance by identifying, and implementing operational improvements.
Consistently meet and exceed daily planned production and quality targets including productivity, yield and availability
Maintain Material FIFO System, assembly equipment’s and fixtures and make availability of that as when required.
Support, Participate in and/or Lead Lean and 5S activities at site working with the site Lean Leader
Work with relevant project managers to oversee all approved NPD projects for your portfolio, ensuring that projects deliver as per customer timeline.
To be responsible for program set up, raw materials availability and re-work and rejection activities.
Ability to set up, program, operate and troubleshoot machines independently as per our production planning and ensure that first piece is correct as per standard dimension.
Ensure all in-house activities and procedures are as per the QA/QC standards. Ensuring total quality assurance of all machining specifications, safety of machine operators under your supervision. You are also required to study production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments.
To be able to interpret drawings and specifications, production schedules and assign work orders and duties to the machine operators and to be ensure that the all components are correctly and completely machined in accordance with engineering BOM, machine detail drawing requirements and quality plans.
Be required to seek for approvals advice and/or support from Plant Manufacturing Manager on all matters affecting the policy of the Company. As such will be expected to keep the Plant Manager informed at all the times on all matters in regards to the machine floor activities and management of the unit under your responsibility.
To be responsible for in-process inspection using various type of equipment’s such as gage maker, Vernier’s, micrometer, dial gauges, thread plug gauges, ring gauges, roughness tester, special tooling etc.
To ensure that HS&E standards are observed and kept at the highest level and all policies in respect of HS&E are implemented to the full.
To work with Engineering Department, process engineering & QA Department to handle customers inspection and testing requirements.
Driving quality improvements in waste reduction, auditing finished goods, preparing finished product to move to the warehouse, and regularly identifying and addressing opportunity for improvement
To fulfil internal and external customer service & scheduling to consistently meet delivery commitments
Manage daily task delegation, training, development, performance evaluation, disciplinary issues all operators on assigned shift
To work closely with process Engineering, quality assurance, planning and assembly department and Maintenance on identifying Potential problems, streamlining processes, and implementing improvement suggestions and activities.
To adheres and contributes to plant safety programs and ensures compliance with world class manufacturing (WCM)
To give customers a positive impression and establishing and maintaining effective relationships with both internal and external customers.
