Ognibene Digital Power Steering (DPS™) is placed over the traditional steering system in off-highway vehicles, improving maneauverability and enabling the use of GPS and autonomous driving without any additional external steering system.

The vehicle is equipped with DPS™ from factory, so it is a fully homologated steering system for on-road and off-road use. The driver has always the possibility to override the system and keep full control of the vehicle through steering wheel, in any situation.

Excellent driving ergonomics, customizable handling and clear response are also crucial and DPS™ provides these features for the first time in off-highway vehicles.

Thanks to the introduction of this cutting-edge smart system on the steering wheel, it is now possible for the driver to be equipped with brand new functionalities in the cabin, such as haptic signals and customizable wheel feedbacks. For instance: the steering wheel can shake when a specific vehicle status occurs. The characteristic modularity and flexibility of this system allow the customization of the vehicle according to end user needs.

The modularity of the system makes available a full range of intelligent steering columns, even if with the same integrated DPS™ module. This module is totally customizable on the application through various functionalities, like varying its incline, making it telescopic, adding lever, pedal or remote disengage, pursuing and obtaining the best possible ergonomics in each case and adapting to all the eventual constrains in the cab of the vehicle.
