Hydraulic actuators

A hydraulic cylinder (also known as a hydraulic linear actuator) is a high power density device that converts hydraulic energy into linear motion and mechanical energy. It is the most important component of a hydraulic system and can lift, push and pull different types of loads.

How does a hydraulic cylinder work?
The cylinder relies on hydraulic power to assist a number of the vehicle’s mechanical operations, delivering optimum output in terms of linear, oscillatory or rotary motion.

The hydraulic cylinder is basically made up of an outer barrel, a piston with an internal rod, and a head. The piston in the hydraulic cylinder contains a fluid that provides the motion.

Ognibene Power hydraulic cylinders can be used for a wide range of applications: agriculture, building construction, material handling, gardening, automotive, marine, self-driving vehicles, and public utility vehicles.
